Montra Electric, the electric vehicle (EV) brand of the Murugappa Group's TI Clean Mobility Pvt Ltd, has demonstrated significant growth since its inception. Within its first year, the company delivered over 5,000 Super Autos, its flagship passenger electric three-wheeler, across 74 markets in 17 states. To broaden its reach, Montra Electric expanded its dealership network from 40 authorized dealers in five southern states to 100 dealerships by the end of the financial year 2023. The company further accelerated its expansion, aiming to increase its branch network to 150-200 dealerships across 150+ cities during the current financial year. As of August 2024, Montra Electric had established 85 showrooms nationwide. Looking ahead, Montra Electric plans to unveil two new products: a cargo version of its e-Auto and an L3 e-rickshaw, aiming to diversify its product portfolio and cater to a broader customer base. These developments underscore Montra Electric's commitment to providing sustainable and efficient transportation solutions across India.
